Things are unraveling even
faster with the Dyrakons finally officially
having entered the war, but deception, corruption
and intrigue among the ranks of the ruling
classes can and still do imperil the outcome
of the war. Gruelling, harsh struggles must
be fought in tandem and to ensure victory
perfect timing much be achieved. It remains
to be seen if the Alian Delegation will
be able to do in Cresna, the Dyrakon capital,
what was accomplished in Leusis and what
the cost of the attempt will be.
Themya senses, just as
her uncle does, that the war is about to
end, one way or the other. It is also just
as painfully obvious that the fight and
struggle will not finish, not until the
Shadow is finally defeated. But how does
one defeat a foe which has survived over
the eons and learnt to thwart even the strongest
weapon of the Arcane Circle against it?
Themya can't help fearing that even if she
discovers the way to defeat the Shadow,
she may be far too weak to do it.
